My @#$%^ digital camera is repaired!

I sent my @#$%^ digital camera to Georgia for repairs and it came back as good as new! AND the camera has agreed to focus for me! (I think that it missed me)

The company is:

V-Photo of Atlanta, Inc
4300 Red Rock Point
Suwanee, GA 30024

Their email is vps6950@bellsouth.com and the website is http://vphotoatlanta.com

They had the camera back to me way before their "ten day" turnaround. And I can't tell by looking at the case that they worked on it. But the LCD viewfinder works and the pictures are in focus (when I don't wiggle).

I recommend this company to anybody that needs their camera repaired. They're good people who gave me a written estimate before I sent the camera to them.

  1. My congrats! When will we see the photo proofs? My monitor decided it was enough for him. And started turning off just after I switched it on. One day time, huge amount of money (I needed it to be repaired asap), some technical stuff explanations (6 condensats (condensators?) dried out and they changed them...). And I have it back healthy and ready to go. I am not sure that I want to advertise the repair company (my inner voice whispers to me that I can not trust condensators :-)) but I am so glad to have my monitor repaired in one day!

  2. Oh goodie now you can post more of your paintings!!!

Nice recommendation - next time I break my camera I guess a trip to the USA could be called for??

  3. Hi Irina! Sorry to hear that your monitor broke down. I hope it was more an inconvenience than anything and ONLY one day. I was lucky with my camera - a new one cost more than having the old one repaired. I'm not too sure that a trip to the US would be cost effective! :-) It might be fun, though.

    See you later

  4. Hi there Liz. After a week, I used Melissa's (my wife) camera to post to the blog. It's a VERY nice Nikon while mine is an OK (a good OK) Fuji. It took some practice to be able to use her camera and my camera came home just about the time I was comfortable with the Nikon. As I told Irina, I was lucky that it was relatively inexpensive to have the camera repaired. MUCH less expensive than another one - new OR used!

  5. That's good news! It's such a good thing when we find good services at a fair price!
So, I'm getting ready to see more artwork soon :)
Now be good to your camera, call her nice names, you're having a second chance with her ;o)
    Best regards,

  6. Hi Carolina! My camera is a SHE? Really? No wonder I wss having problems - I didn't buy the @#$%^ camera any chocolates! DUH! :-) Whatever the gender, we've made a peace and SHE will try to focus and I will not drop her again.

As to painting, I have to be careful walking to the studio because of the cold weather and ice. Spring will be here soon and I'll complain about being too warm! :-)

    Warm best wishes
