Menton France - Creole Mass #1

$100.00 plus shipping
Menton France - Creole Mass 1  12x16  Oils on canvas panel

Another painting inspired by Jilly's Menton Daily Photo blog pages!

Jilly has this knack for making photographs that are interesting, colorful and show Menton, Frnace in such a wonderful light.  The people and are so colorful that I could make paintings from her photos without end.

I'll call this painting done although I may return to it to "play" with those beads around her neck! :-)  Fiddling, fiddling - leave it alone, already!

  3. Hi Irina - That Google reader is trouble for me - I start reading / looking and spend too much time. :-)

I see that you're busy with your art and photos. Spring is here! Time to stop with the 3D renderings at work and go outside and enjoy "warmer" weather! (Easy for me to say that!)

  4. Hi Liz.Thank you for your kind words. Aren't those colors fantastic? AND you should see the painting! The digitalizing (is that a word?) takes away some of the brilliance and luster of the colors in the oil paints. But all in all, the essence of the painting is there. :-)

  6. Hi Carolina! You know what? I like it too! (GASP)

The colors are "similar" to Jilly's photo, but I couldn't let that stop me from coloring it up a "BIT". :-)
