This was painting came from a photo in Jill Bennet's blog Menton Daily Photo.  I think that I will like this painting better after I make a few, small changes/modifications.

I'll continue trying to make a decent photo of this painting - until then . . . .  sigh.

    Why always the sigh, Ken? I think this is lovely. Very brave for you to go so dark, and it really works.

    Hi Liz, I was agonizing over taking a photo of a VERY shiny and reflective painting. I sure do struggle with making photos of paintings! :-) I'm pretty happy with the painting - I was trying to capture the mood of a young person being alone. She seems pensive. Maybe her companion is late or hasn't been very nice?
