This painting was one of five that I entered in the Rogers (AR) Art Guilds 2011 Art Show & Sale.
This year we had only 44 paintings entered almost half the number entered last year.
This was a really fun painting, especially adding the snow falling! It was daunting to make the snow as it involved "splattering" my painting with really thinned blueish grey paint. I learned of a technique on the Art Instruction blog. A person asked how to make "falling snow" in a painting.
